The charity currently directly funds and operates two separate research laboratories both located in the Southampton area.
The Simon Flavell Leukaemia Research Unit located at Southampton General Hospital has been the flagship of Leukaemia Busters funded research since 1992.

The Clinical Trials Support Unit was established in 2004 in response to new European clinical trial regulations and is located approximately fifteen miles east of Southampton. This laboratory facility is dedicated to the preclinical and clinical development of new experimental antibody-based drugs.
