The name Leukaemia Busters and its logo carry special meaning, both having been devised by ten year old Simon Flavell before he died with an incurable form of childhood leukaemia in 1990.
Simon was a great fan of Ghost Busters and so it came very naturally to him to plumb for the name and logo design that he created diligently himself giving the charity a lasting legacy that is instantly recognisable.
