Dolphin Walk

This walk begins at Harmans Cross Railway Station, where walkers will enjoy a short ride on the steam train to Swanage through magnificent countryside. From the Swanage station, walkers will walk along the coastal path passing Anvil Point Lighthouse, St. Aldhelm's Head and Chapman's Pool where dolphins and porpoises are regular visitors, before heading inland back to Harmans Cross.

This intermediate walk is approximately 12 miles and is suitable for families. This walk should take about 6 hours to complete depending on age and ability.

Note:  This walk involves ascending and descending steps.

The registration time for this walk is 9:30 - 10:00 at Harmans Cross Village Hall.  The steam train to Swanage leaves Harmans Cross station at 10.52 (subject to confirmation).
